Katrina originally comes “from Away”, as they say in Maine. Growing up in New Jersey, she would spend summers as a child enjoying the ocean beaches, lakes, mountains, and all that a Maine summer has to offer. Fascinated with Maine, she eventually attended college there. After several moves around the US, including back to New Jersey and Minneapolis, she made her way back to Maine, the place she loves to call home base.

Settling in Winterport, she noticed an old music hall and former church building for sale. With a background in property management, event planning, and a love of both traveling and hosting, it seemed like the perfect project. Kaler Street Music Hall, as it was formerly known, became Crooked Steeple Hall. Located just steps from the Winterport Union Meeting House, and with a on-site honeymoon suite, it’s the perfect place for your Maine Destination Wedding.

In 2015, Katrina also found an incredible historic home in Winterport, the 1812 Pierce House. Located just half a mile from Crooked Steeple Hall, this unique home sleeps up to 20 guests and is the perfect place for a small wedding, elopement, vow renewal, or other family event. The town of Winterport is located in a central Maine location, making it an ideal spot for you and your guests to enjoy exploring the Maine coast - Camden, Rockland, Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor, DownEast, the Bangor region, and Baxter State Park.
